THE SOLOPRENEUR TOOLBOX
Some of the tools I use in my blogging and business to do things more efficiently. As a solopreneur, so much of your success depends on selecting the right tools and resources, at the right time.
NOTE: Some of these links are affiliates which mean I will earn a small commission (at no extra cost) if you purchase through my links. I will never recommend something unless I have used and loved it myself. Thank you for your support.
To build an online platform, you need a home base, your virtual storefront. I highly recommend a managed WordPress host like WP Engine (a step above Bluehost) and made exclusively for WordPress. Optimized for security and speed, it’s hard to ask for more from a web host. This is what the Solopreneur Lifestyle is hosted on.

Bluehost was the host I first got started with and also offers one-click WordPress installs, 24/7 support, and an anytime money-back guarantee. Not as fast or optimized as WP Engine, but also reliable and a great starter host if you’re looking for something a bit more cost efficient. They also offer a free domain when you sign up.
I use them as a starting base for all my sites. Divi, their flagship theme, and visual page builder is arguably the most widely-used premium WordPress theme in the world. Divi makes it possible to design beautiful websites in a short amount of time without any knowledge of coding.
Divi child themes & plugins that will rock your world. You simply purchase a template that suits your needs and change out the default content with your own and BOOM… instant website. It can’t be any more simple than that.
*Does require Divi from Elegant Themes (parent theme)
Not as robust as Ontraport, but a great email marketing tool that is great for beginners. Just remember, it’s hard to migrate email lists and if you do… you’ll inevitably lose subscribers. If managing and building an email list is your only goal you can’t go wrong with Convert Kit.
SEMRush provides an excellent way to track you positioning, generate ideas for more organic traffic, analyze your competitors, and much much more. You can also analyze your paid advertising and social media efforts to see whats working and whats not.
Schema is the tiny “micro” data Google picks up to determine your site’s content (and how good it is). Unlike the meta-keywords of old, good Schema is dynamic with your site. It’s a pain to do it manually and Project Supremacy makes it simple.
And it works beautifully because it’s what Google wants.

Create professional images without having to become a professional designer! Stencil is a ridiculously simple tool to create graphics for your blog posts, social media, or resources page.
